The French name Mardi Gras means Fat Tuesday, from the custom of using all the fats in the home before Lent in preparation for fasting and abstinence ~ with that in mind the theme for this month’s issue is, 'what would we be prepared to give up, but more importantly, what we couldn't or wouldn't give up!’
