**Dragon’s Lair**

A dragon is a legendary creature, typically scaled or fire-spewing and with serpentine, reptilian or avian traits that feature in the myths of many cultures around the world.

Being Welsh, with our national flag emblazoned with a beautiful, red dragon, hot on the heels of celebrating St David’s Day - the patron saint of Wales - my mind was awash with visions of fabulous, fire-breathing dragons. And with a nod across the Welsh border to our English followers, who will be celebrating St George’s Day and their own dragon, I wanted #TeamHeaven to create our very own version.

I’d already commissioned an eye-catching dragon scarf from the talented Anna Loch’s Etsy Shop LAHandmadeBoutique; this was the perfect opportunity to show it off with the combined talents of Beth Jones and Hilary Jones. They were armed with latex, tissue paper, glue, glitter paint and an enormous amount of bobby pins and elastic bands. Not one to complain and ready to ‘suffer for one’s art!’ it was time to bring out my least favourite beauty prop - coloured contact lenses. But with my eye on the bigger picture, it was a minor and fiddly irritation worth enduring and the team totally slayed their brief!!

We brought ‘Big Dickie’, our amazing drone, out of hibernation to get in on the act, setting him free to soar over the magical, stunning coastline that is Three Cliffs Bay in Gower, Swansea. Just imagine our Dragon’s Lair - nestling amongst the cliffs - waiting to be discovered. Dare you to enter the Lair!
