**Goddess Of Love**

Love is in the air, especially during the month of February.

This got me thinking. Why is Valentine’s Day just for lovers? After all, love is love and why shouldn’t EVERYONE celebrate the day?

A parent loves their child. A child loves its parents and grandparents. Friends love friends. Pet owners love their pets, and vice versa! You get my drift?

Let’s just celebrate LOVE in all its forms…

I decided to create my very own Goddess Of Love - one which represents universal love.

With that in mind (and heart), my brain cogs crunched, whirred and leapt into action, conjuring up all sorts of ideas of how my very own fusion, version and vision of Venus and Aphrodite would look!

I imagined beautiful gemstones, mystical crystal and sumptuous gold; twinkly, sparkly, over the top, and more than a little decadent...

My mood board reflected this, using an iridescent palette of red gemstones, geodes and LOTS of gold.

Armed with crystals, glitter, metallic paints, jewels, 24ct gold leaf and a fabulously curly red wig, Beth went to work, bringing my goddess vision to life.

Our Goddess was ready to face the camera and celebrate Universal Love...
