**United Colours Of Pride**

This month’s Dream Factory shoot is all about celebrating the LGBTQ+ community.

The Emma Heaven online magazine welcomes and embraces EVERYONE, from every corner of the globe.

The world would be a pretty boring place if everyone were the same!

Can you imagine if we all looked the same, thought the same, believed in the same things, did what everyone else did? What a BORING place the world would be!

What makes the world so fabulous and interesting is the wonderful, diverse and unique people who populate it…after all - when you strip us back - underneath we are all the same - a human skeleton.

With this idea in mind, it would go on to be the very foundation of our shoot. The skeleton we all are underneath, covered with colourful ‘canvas’ which allows us to be who we are, to show the world who we are, and we can adorn that canvas whichever way we want. It’s our choice. There are NO rules. We can be WHOEVER we want to be.

In our usual inimitable, understated way, #TeamHeaven went to town with an explosion of colour from the LGBTQ+ flag, whose colours reflect the diversity of the LGBTQ+ community.

Fully ‘locked and loaded’ with an enormous palette of colours at her disposal, the supremely talented Beth wasted no time in conjuring up a colourful masterpiece on one side of my face, complete with matching rainbow crystals.

On the other side she painted a human skull. The effect was spellbinding as I turned my head from side to side.

When I faced front - complete with a rainbow wig and rainbow sequin coat - the overall effect totally toyed with, and mixed up, the idiom ‘beauty is only skin deep’.

Stand proud in the skin that you’re in! We are simultaneously different yet the same underneath when you literally - and metaphorically - strip it down to the bare bones!

People of the world - we give you the ‘United Colours Of Pride’.
