Happy 4th birthday emmaheaven.com!!!

It is with an enormous sense of pride that we gathered together to celebrate our achievements over the last four fabulous years. And what an incredible journey it has been.

We have entertained and inspired around the globe for four years, and it still feels as fresh and exciting as day one!

Feeling ‘Proud’ was not only the inspiration for this year’s EH Awards, but also for this month’s Fashion Feast feature.

You’re familiar with that well known saying ‘Proud as a peacock’?

The meaning behind it is ‘having a high opinion of oneself, filled or showing an excessive self esteem’

Well HELLO!!! That is the very essence of this magazine - we totally believe in ourselves, believe in what we do and, as for self esteem and general magnificence, we have that in abundance! And we want to spread that feeling to you, so - if the shoe fits…

Et voila - with that idea firmly in place, I was about to be transformed into a ‘proud’ peacock.

Step forward our talented SFX Makeup Artist, Beth who was ready, willing and able to turn this bird into an exotic one! She achieved this with a full plume of feathers adorning my head thanks to a spectacular headdress created by Rachel of Maskerade4 - Etsy.com.

With plumage in place, Beth painstakingly painted more feathers on my face, neck and shoulders, using an abundance of paint, makeup, sequins, jewels and glitter. She created quite a twinkling tornado in the studio as she conjured up her latest masterpiece - it was quite like watching a mad magician at work!

Another ‘proud’ moment for #TeamHeaven. They keep on coming …
