Where It All Began

Some people wear clothes because they have to. They get up, put something on and off they go.

I love the way clothes make me feel - the confidence they give me - the way they can reflect or transform my mood.

I think with age comes confidence - when you start to feel comfortable in your own skin - when you don’t really care what other people think - when you start to dress for you.

I want to live longer by being fit and healthy and looking after myself.

I care about my appearance and want to make the most of what Mother Nature gave me.

I have a lifelong interest in fashion and beauty and I surround myself with fabulous friends who have come with me on this incredible journey.

Life’s too short to not glam up and party and I want to share my passion for fashion with you... so welcome to my world.

The idea for this website came about after endless suggestions from friends who thought I should share my fashion knowledge with all the budding fashionistas out there

After mulling over the idea, I realised it was now or never and decided to just go for it - and so I would like to share with you what I love to do and how I got this website up and running.

As you have probably guessed I love to shop. I adore department stores and also little boutiques -  but I have to admit I prefer shopping online. I love to sit down with my ipad, a cup of tea and browse all the amazing shopping sites out there. The thrill of finding the perfect outfit is hard to beat - and then waiting with anticipation for it to arrive - will it look as good as it did on screen? I am like a kid at Christmas tearing off all the packaging, waiting for that adrenaline rush!

Having decided on which direction I was going to take with the website I set up a photo shoot with Richie Crossley of Chic Production. My friends Jenna and Hilary were drafted in to transform my hair and makeup, creating many different looks - and I selected some favourite pieces from my wardrobe. The atmosphere was electric and the champagne flowed. The whole day was ridiculous fun and one I will remember always.

The next step was meeting Mike Scott of Indycube and Scottmedia.co, who was introduced to me by Richie. Mike was going to turn all my ideas into reality, building a website that was interactive and fun. He understood the concept and totally got my vision from the start.

Richie helped create my visuals and business cards and also put me in touch with the formidable Denise Davey, who was initially brought on board to organise the launch of my website, but has since proven to be a multifaceted Project Manager, whose modest title does little to accurately convey the diverse skills she has brought to my new (ad)venture!

Many meetings and truck loads of coffee later, I have the website I envisioned.

This adventure has had its’ fair share of laughter and tears.  We’ve had fabulous experiences and special memories and amazing friendships have been made.

I hope you enjoy this website as much as I have loved making it.
