May Inspiration Board
This month’s board is inspired by my quest for perfect skin (well as near to perfect as I can get). It is so important to have good skin which looks healthy and radiant; and it also helps with your makeup application - there’s no use putting beautiful paint on a dull, rough canvas!
With this in mind my wonderful friend Jenna Kelly recommended I visit The Grove Clinic. I promptly made an appointment for a consultation with the owner Jodie Grove.
Jodie asked me lots of questions about my skin.
What skin type was I? Normal most of the time.
What problems if any, did I have with my skin? I suffer from spots due to my hormones.
What were my main concerns? How to minimise those pesky little lines around my eyes!
What skin care products was I currently using? Creme de La Mer - but believe me when I say I have just about tried most skin care ranges!
Whether I was having any treatments? Facials are part of my fashion and beauty regime! I’m always having them!
What is my diet and lifestyle like? I’m very healthy. I follow Tara Hammett’s nutrition and exercise advice.
What did I want to achieve? To stop those irritating monthly spots, soften the fine lines around my eyes, make my skin firmer, brighter. Not demanding the moon and stars, but I just want to have the skin of a 20 year old! I know that’s never going to happen - but a lady can wish! In the meantime I am going to work my way through all the available treatments in my quest!

Not just with your body, but
Drop the excuses and bull s***.
Who's going to do it for you?
I've got a turbo top tip for you now.
Stop cutting corners and trying to take the easy route.
Your weight loss success is only possible when you can discipline yourself to do some work.
You may read about some of my success stories that I share and wish you were like them and you can.
If you do what other successful Taransformers do, nothing can stop you from eventually enjoying the same rewards as them.
But if you DON'T do what they do, nothing can help you.
Now, I don't mean the Taransformer programme is the only way to be successful, what I mean is you've got to do the work.
The people that do my programmes have tried it all before
Shakes & Pills
They just yo-yo'd
Until they joined the team, continued with small tasks and changed their daily routine.

‘Knowledge is power’
People always ask about supplementation, there are so many products it gets confusing.
Vitamin C is one of them, many things our body uses it for may surprise you.
Up your veggie intake and your Vitamin C levels will increase, no need to worry about which is the best product for you.
Reduces cortisol production: One of the large benefits of Vitamin C is it reduces the production of cortisol in your body. The stress of everyday life or weight lifting triggers a catabolic hormone known as cortisol. In terms of muscle building and fat loss, cortisol is bad for you and something you should try to avoid. Cortisol actually breaks down muscle tissue to use for energy, and tends to promote extra fat storage especially around your stomach.
Increases iron absorption: Vitamin C will increase the absorption of iron in your body. Iron is used to bind oxygen to hemoglobin in your blood and is vital if you want to perform an intense weight training or HIIT session with all your energy.
Helps with muscle soreness: It has been proven that when Vitamin C supplements are taken near a workout, your muscles won't become as sore over the next few days after the workout.
Protects from free radical damage: When you perform weight training or HIIT sessions, free radicals are created in the body. Free radicals are basically metabolic waste products that attack the cells of your body. When free radicals attack your cells like this it is called "free radical damage". Because Vitamin C is a strong antioxidant, it will fight these free radicals by either stopping their creation, or by reducing their effects.
Helps create steroid hormones: Last but not least of the benefits of Vitamin C is that it assists the creation of natural anabolic steroids in the body. The amount of muscle that you are physically able to build relies on how much of this natural steroid hormone you have in your body, so the more the better.
Did you know Broccoli has more Vitamin C per 100g than an orange? so get those fibrous little veggies stacked on your plate.
Work towards the body of your dreams
